About

Hi, I'm Eduardo.

I curate the free resources on this site and act as a sparring partner for SMB owners in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on AI, practical security and data protection. Independent, Berlin-based, no funnel.

Why this site exists

SMB owners in DACH keep asking the same three questions: Which AI tools are actually useful? How do I keep my business secure without an IT team? And what does data protection look like in practice, not in a textbook? Most of the time those questions don't need a consulting engagement. They need a clear, jargon-free pointer.

So I built this place. The tool directory and weekly insights are free to read, share and reference. They are written and reviewed by one person (me), not generated by a content farm. If a piece would be more useful with a real example or a step-by-step, it gets a real example or a step-by-step.

When a question is bigger than what the resources cover, I'm available by the hour for a sparring conversation — €140/h net (CHF 180/h for Swiss clients), no retainer, no long-form proposal. Most owners get what they need from the free pages first; that's the point of the site.

How I work

Clarity over completeness

Short, useful answers beat exhaustive frameworks. Every page links to deeper reading if you want it.

Honest about limits

If something needs a lawyer, an accountant or a specialist, I'll say so. I'm not in the business of pretending.

One person, no farm

Every tool review and insight is read and approved by me. No AI-generated answers passed off as opinions.

Free first, paid second

The library exists to help everyone. Personal sparring is available, but it's the secondary path, not the goal.

What I cover

AI

AI for your team

Tool reviews, use-case ideas, and what to skip. Practical onboarding for teams without an IT department.

Security

Practical security

Hygiene-level habits, awareness for the team, and a simple plan for when something goes wrong.

Data protection

Data protection in plain language

What actually matters for your records, contracts and tools. Pointers and orientation, not legal advice.

What I won't do

Being clear about boundaries upfront saves everyone time.

  • I won't sign as your Data Protection Officer (DPO). I'll help you decide whether you need one.

  • I won't replace a lawyer for written legal opinions, contracts, or court matters.

  • I won't sell software licences or take referral fees from tool vendors. Reviews stay independent.

  • I won't promise outcomes. I promise honest analysis and a clear next step you can decide on.

Most of what you need is in the tools and insights. If your question is specific to your situation, my inbox is open.
